Tinashe is under new management.

The singer is now being repped by Roc Nation, according to Hitmaka. During an interview with HipHop-N-More, the producer revealed that Tinashe has signed with JAY-Z’s management company.

“I actually spoke to her just recently. She left RCA Records, I believe she’s managed by Roc Nation now,” said Hitmaka.

In February, Tinashe confirmed her split with RCA Records, where she released her 2014 debut Aquarius and last year’s Joyride, as well as her 2016 mixtape Nightride. “They low-key always sabotaged my real art shit. disappointing, but it made me stronger,” she told fans during a Twitter chat in July.

She has also since parted ways with her longtime manager Mike Nazzaro. She alluded to the breakup during the same Q&A session. When told her team had “worms for brains,” she replied, “im aware thats why they are fired lol.”

Hitmaka produced Tinashe’s unreleased project Nashe. Last year, she dropped a couple tracks from the project including “Throw a Fit” and “Like I Used To.”

“It was a lot of fun doing that because we really went into the studio for a week and banged out like 15 records that are just amazing,” he said. “I’m excited for everybody to hear the records. You know we had a little bit of a start and stop with her switching labels but hopefully y’all will get to hear the music soon.”
