Snoop Dogg is thankful.
Over 25 years in the game, including gospel, reggae, and R&B projects, the hip-hop icon returns to his roots on his 17th album I Wanna Thank Me, inspired by his viral speech at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November.
With 22 tracks, the project is loaded with guests including YG, Mustard, Wiz Khalifa, Nate Dogg, Trey Songz, Swizz Beatz, and Nate Dogg. Chris Brown joins Snoop on the Jazze Pha-produced “Turn Me On,” Ozuna and Anitta add some global flavor, and Slick Rick takes it back on the Bob Marley-sampled “So Misinformed.”
Tha Doggfather also reflects on his Death Row days on the G-Funk-inspired “Let Bygones Be Bygones,” and pays tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle on “One Blood, One Cuzz.”
