The Bawse is speaking out.

During an interview with Joe Budden this week, Nicki Minaj called out Rick Ross for disrespecting her on “Apple of My Eye.” “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki / Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance,” he rapped on the 2017 track.

In April 2016, Ross and Nicki both went to the White House to meet with President Obama. During their visit, Nicki spoke to Obama on behalf of her then-boyfriend Meek, who was on probation at the time.

Ross would later tell Meek that Nicki was a “keeper.” “I went and sat down in a meeting with Obama, President Obama, and Ross was there and texted dude after the meeting and said, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper,'” she told Budden. “I saw the text myself with my own eyes, ‘This chick is a keeper.’ She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you’re still on probation after all these years.”

During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Thursday, the Maybach Music boss addressed Nicki’s comments on “The Joe Budden Podcast.”

“If somebody went in to meet Obama with you, she is a keeper until you find out otherwise,” he told Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee. “She was around me a few times, other than that she was a huge talent, but she was playing a very important position at the time. She was in between Meek and Drake at the time. And what she don’t know and she don’t understand coming from a big homie like myself, playing that position, that was a very fragile role.”

Nicki was put in a predicament, caught between her man and her friend Drake, who were beefing at the time. “It would be very easy to put that responsibility on her. But that ain’t what I tried to make it to, but most definitely when I seen it go sideways, it would be easy to assume she have had something to do with that. And if somebody tell you didn’t, they lying. Everybody move forward. She moved forward, she doing her thing. I’m happy to see her do that. Meek doin’ his thang. Drizzy, they doin’ their thang. That’s all I wanted to see at the end of the day.”

Nicki blasted Rozay for naming her on “Apple of My Eye.” “And then you come out on an album, when it’s time to sell some sell weak-ass fucking album and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj,” she said. “Boy, sit your fat ass down.”

Watch Rozay address Nicki at the 33-minute mark.
