Drake does it again.

His Care Package compilation debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 109,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 8. Of that amount, 16,000 were in album sales.

The project consists of 17 archival tracks, many of which were previously only available on SoundCloud or YouTube, including “The Motion,” “Jodeci Freestyle,” “5AM in Toronto,” and “4PM in Calabasas.”

This marks Drake’s ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, extending his own record for most No. 1 albums this decade. He previously topped the chart with Scorpion (2018), More Life (2017), Views (2016), What a Time to Be Alive with Future (2015), If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015), Nothing Was the Same (2013), Take Care (2011), and Thank Me Later (2010).

He also joins some legendary company, tying Garth Brooks, Eminem, Madonna, and The Rolling Stones for most No. 1s on the Billboard 200 with nine each. Only The Beatles (19), JAY-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand (11), and Elvis Presley (10) have more.

Additionally, Care Package marks the first No. 1 album on Drake’s OVO Sound label. All of his previous albums were released via Young Money/Cash Money/Republic.

Coming in at No. 4 is Lil Durk, who earns his first top 10 album with Love Songs 4 the Streets 2, which moved 44,000 equivalent album units (4,000 in album sales). The Chicago rapper has five previous entries on the Billboard 200 and previously peaked at No. 14 with 2015’s Remember My Name.

Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran’s No.6 Collaborations Project rises 3-2 (49,000), while Chris Brown’s Indigo remains steady at No. 5 (37,000).

Last week’s chart-topper, NF’s The Search, dips 1-6 (36,000), Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You slips 7-8, and Chance the Rapper’s The Big Day falls 2-9 in its second week (33,000).
