The Bawse reveals his top 5—dead or alive.

While promoting his upcoming album Port of Miami 2 on “Nick Cannon Mornings” on Power 106, Rick Ross was asked to list the 5 MCs who influenced him, starting with The Notorious B.I.G. “He was special. I just love how he was so effortless,” said the MMG mogul.

Next on his list was Ice Cube, who was also in Nick Cannon’s top 5. “Anybody that don’t consider Cube, they don’t count,” Rozay said of the N.W.A veteran. “They can’t sit at the table.”

He also gave Scarface his flowers, along with 8Ball & MJG (“I’ma put them as one”).

“When you talk Rozay and my top 5, it ain’t about your album, your single, I’m thinking catalog,” he explained. “The impact.”

For his final spot, he was debating between two late legends, Nipsey Hussle and Tupac Shakur. “I ain’t thinking numbers, I’m thinking impact,” he said. “It’s very few words that could describe the impact Nip had. When you looked up in that Staples Center… His impact, I just pray he had an idea to see this.”
