6ix9ine may be coming home sooner than expected.
While he remains behind bars on federal racketeering charges, the rapper’s girlfriend Jade has revealed his potential release date. Taking to Instagram, Jade shouted out Tekashi and claimed that he will be released in just six months, which puts his release date at January 2020.
“6 more months motherf**ker,” she originally captioned a photo of herself covered in tattoos of her boyfriend.
According to Capital Xtra, the caption was later changed to say: “These jail calls are serious.” It’s unclear why she edited it.
The 23-year-old rapper has been behind bars since November, but could be released early after fulfilling his obligations as part of an agreement with authorities. He was facing 47 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to nine federal charges and was scheduled to be sentenced in January 2020.
Eight defendants, including Tekashi and his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, already pleaded guilty to gun and narcotics charges. The “FEFE” rapper recently hired attorney Alex Spiro, who has represented JAY-Z and 21 Savage, to assist in the case.
Jade has remained loyal to her boo throughout it all. She has three tattoos dedicated to him, including two portraits of his face and a “69” tat on her collarbone. She has visited him in prison and he even bought her a Mercedes G-Wagon for Christmas.
