Lil Uzi Vert had an awkward run-in with security at a recent show.

During the Weekend Festival 2019 in Suvilahti, Helinski over the weekend, the Philly rapper was seemingly mistaken for a fan during Gunna’s set.

In the video footage, the “Baby Birkin” rapper is seen performing before Uzi joins him on stage. But the security guard apparently doesn’t recognize him and tries to kick him off stage. A second guard jumps in to remove Uzi during the scuffle, but he manages to get away while Gunna steps in to help out his friend.

Things escalate as Uzi confronts one of the security guards who tried to tackle him before Gunna calms him down. After the dust-up, the two carry on with their performance.

Prior to that, Uzi also came face-to-face with security when he tried to climb a fence to go backstage. Security tried to pull him down while he explained what he was doing.

Despite being mistaken for a fan, Uzi was on the bill during the two-day festival, which also featured J.I.D., YBN Cordae, and Afrojack.

He is now gearing up for the release of his sophomore album Eternal Atake. In May, he announced that he was done with the long-awaited project. Prior to that, he dropped a pair of singles, “That’s a Rack” and “Sanguine Paradise.” He can also be heard on the Chief Keef-produced “Cap Flow” off Doowop’s new mixtape Cappin’ Ain’t Dead.
