Over a year after his death, XXXTentacion’s music lives on. The late rapper shows his versatility on his posthumous single “Royalty” featuring KyKy-Mani Marley, Vybz Kartel, and Stefflon Don.
Over the sultry dancehall rhythm, produced by Jamaican producer JonFx, X pays homage to his Jamaican roots while his co-stars add some island flavor.
“Royalty” marks the first single off XXXTentacion’s upcoming album Bad Vibes Forever, which is set to feature some of today’s biggest artists. The project follows his posthumous release Skins, which debuted at No. 1 in November.
There are also plans for a documentary. Last month, his estate released a trailer featuring narration from X along with footage of him reuniting with friends and meeting fans.
