Aubrey O’Day is out for redemption.

Earlier this week, MTV and Diddy announced that they were bringing back “Making the Band,” and the former cast member is feeling some type of way about it.

During an interview with The Blast, the Danity Kane singer said she supports the reboot of the reality competition series, on which she and her bandmates got their start, but also wants MTV to give her and her “MTB” co-stars a new show.

“I’m happy when any new artist gets an opportunity to shine and to develop, but I do think that MTV needs to bring back, along with ‘Making the Band,’ a Danity Kane show with our family that we created on the network with Day26, Donnie Klang,” she said. “We won’t stop until we get it.”

O’Day, who appeared on “Making the Band 3” in 2005-2006, also took a shot at her former mentor for not finishing what he started. “But I think it would be really interesting to see Diddy repair what he broke on national television,” she said. “I think it would be really interesting for him to show the world that he can come full circle with redemption with all of us. I think he needs to finish what he started.”

She went on to blame the Bad Boy mogul for Danity Kane’s breakup. “There are many factors and there are many reasons why things started to not work, but the breakup came from his mouth,” said O’Day, who last saw Diddy in a Las Vegas club with Ray J. “It’s been ages since Ray J was relevant, so probably a long time ago.”

Three members of Danity Kane, including O’Day, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex, recently released their new single “Neon Lights” and are currently on tour. O’Day can also be seen on MTV’s reality dating show “Ex on the Beach.”
