Is 50 Cent reviving “Power”?

Last month, it was announced that Starz’ popular crime drama series would end after its sixth season. But it appears that the show’s executive producer has had a change of heart. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (June 25), 50 revealed plans to keep the show going.

“I Changed my mind POWER is not going to be over after season 6,” he wrote. “This shit is [too] good.”

It’s unclear if Curtis was just trolling, but his announcement had fans buzzing over the prospect of another season. “Don’t play with my emotions like that,” said one Instagram commenter, while another added, “Nah. Power needs to end. Storyline has ran its course. Good show.”

“Power” is scheduled to wrap its final 15-episode season, “The Final Betrayal,” starting with the Aug. 25 premiere. Spinoffs inspired by the Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton-starring show are already in the works.

“I have 4 spin off shows coming so don’t trip,” 50 previously wrote.
