Beyoncé is the Lion Queen.

The singer unleashed a fierce lioness look while attending the 3rd annual Wearable Art Gala in Santa Monica, Calif., hosted by her mother Tina Knowles Lawson. Queen Bey slayed the theme of this year’s gala, “A Journey to the Pride Lands,” inspired by Disney’s live-action reboot of The Lion King, in which she stars as Nala.

Bey stunned in a custom Georges Hobeika outfit, including a sequined golden catsuit with a lion-face bodice and feathery shoulders, complete with a long shimmering golden cape.

Blue Ivy also dressed for the occasion in a yellow African dress and matching headpiece. Beyoncé shared photos of her and her 7-year-old daughter on Instagram, including video of Blue Ivy lip-syncing “Circle of Life” in the car.

Beyoncé’s fellow Destiny’s Child divas, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, were also in attendance, along with JAY-Z, Tyler Perry, Magic Johnson, Steve Harvey, Anthony Anderson, Holly Robinson Peete, Saweetie, Chloe x Halle, and MC Hammer.

Maxwell entertained the star-studded crowd, while Tiffany Haddish played emcee. The evening also featured a performance by cast members from Broadway’s musical “The Lion King” and a live art auction with celebrity auctioneer Star Jones.

The Wearable Art Gala raises money for the non-profit Where Art Can Occur theater center, a gallery and performance space founded by Beyoncé’s mother and her husband Richard Lawson, along with their mentorship programs Tina’s Angels and Richard’s Warriors, which empower inner-city students.

Disney’s upcoming live-action Lion King, starring Beyoncé, Donald Glover, and more, hits theaters July 18.
