Don’t get between Cardi B and her family.

On Thursday (May 16), the “Please Me” rapper took to Instagram Live with a PSA directed at her fan pages. After acknowledging their support, she reprimanded them for “talking hella crazy” about her loved ones including her sister and husband during a group chat, saying that the disrespect won’t be tolerated.

“No, you cannot talk about my sister,” she said of her younger sister Hennessy Carolina. “I will fucking stab… I will kill somebody for my sister. I would go to jail for my sister. I would go to jail for my sister, I would die for my sister, I would take a bullet for my sister. So nobody could talk about my sister. I could be best friends with somebody for 100 years. Once they say something slick about my sister, you’re getting cut the fuck off, period.”

She also defended her longtime publicist Patience against critics who say she needs to do a better job managing her client. “I have a mouth and I do what I want,” said Cardi. “So my publicist can’t control me. Nobody can control me. I don’t listen to nobody. I do what I want, even if it gets me in trouble or not.”

And as for her husband Offset, don’t even try it. “Nobody can talk about my husband either,” quipped Cardi. “I understand that some fan pages and some people, they feel a certain type of way because of the drama that I have with Offset. However, that’s my husband and that’s my child’s father. My daughter loves her dad. So I know she will fight for her dad. But she can’t ’cause she a baby. So I will fight for her dad. Nobody can talk no crazy shit about my baby father.”

While she’s open to criticism, her family is off limits. “Keep my family out of it though,” Cardi told her followers. “Just delete your Instagram then because I don’t give a fuck.”

During the livestream, she also addressed the delay of her song “Press,” which she previewed earlier this year. “The reason that it hasn’t dropped is because there’s so many records lined up that was already approved to come out before the song,” she said. “I promise that it’s gonna come out and I’m thankful for the love.”
