Offset is safe after a shooting at a studio where he was recording.
Cops tell TMZ that the Migos rapper was inside Crossover Entertainment Group in Atlanta on Wednesday night (May 8) when it was riddled with bullets during a drive-by shooting. Officers responded after shots were fired into the building, but Offset left by the time authorities arrived.
At least one witness believes that Offset was the target of the shooting. Cops have yet to speak to the rapper, but are planning to contact him as they proceed with the investigation.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, passengers in a passing car opened fire at the studio around 9 p.m. The bullets damaged three vehicles as well as the building’s exterior and at least one apartment window. Someone reportedly was shot in the leg, but officers were unable to confirm.
The drive-by reportedly occurred shortly after Offset went outside for a few minutes. When the gunshots rang out, people inside the studio rushed to safety in another room until things settled down.
TMZ has obtained surveillance footage from the drive-by shooting, which shows someone leaning out of the passenger window of a moving vehicle while firing shots.
