Kodak Black is behind bars.

The 21-year-old rapper was arrested at the United States-Canada border on weapons and drugs charges on Wednesday night (April 17). According to New York State Police (via USA Today), Black (whose real name is Bill Kapri) was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana after he and three other men tried to enter the U.S. via the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.

Police reportedly found marijuana and a Glock 9mm pistol in a Cadillac Escalade driven by Kapri. They also found two loaded handguns and a third in the trunk of a Porsche, driven by one of his associates.

“During the initial inspection, the U.S. citizens admitted to being in possession of marijuana and firearms,” said a CBP spokesperson. “During a secondary inspection, it was revealed that the weapons were possessed unlawfully in New York State and subsequently the marijuana, firearms and subjects were turned over to the New York State Police for further processing.”

In addition to Kapri, three other men face charges: Stetson President, 24, and Madarrow Smith, 20, for criminal possession of a weapon; and Jeantony Saintmelus, 22, for criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Earlier in the day, Kapri mysteriously canceled two concerts at the House of Blues in Boston. After he failed to show up, the venue released a statement announcing that both shows were being postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

The rapper, who has been in the headlines for his disrespectful comments about Lauren London, is still in custody and being held on a $20,000 cash bond or $40,000 bond. A court date is scheduled for next month.

UPDATE: Kodak Black has been released from custody after posting $20,000 bail. He hid his face with a fan of cash as he exited the jail on Thursday afternoon.
