Ciara’s comeback is on 100.
Four years since her last album, the singer is set to release her seventh studio album Beauty Marks. Taking to social media, she announced a May 10 release date and revealed the sensual black-and-white cover art, which finds her naked covered in body paint.
So far, the album has spawned the R&B slow jam “Greatest Love,” and a trio of dance-ready tracks—“Dose,” the Tekno Miles-assisted “Freak Me,” and “Level Up,” which inspired a viral dance sensation.
The 11 tracks also include collaborations with Macklemore (“I Love Myself”) and Kelly Rowland (“Girl Gang”). Her new single “Thinkin Bout You” drops tonight at 9 p.m. PST along with an album pre-order.
Beauty Marks, the follow-up to 2015’s Jackie, arrives 15 years after Ciara’s debut Goodies. “The feeling that I have now is parallel to when I first started,” the mother of two told Refinery29. “I was this young girl excited to be living my dreams and having the best time. I’m back to that phase again.”
Beauty Marks Entertainment is also the name of Ciara’s newly-launched label. “This journey has been amazing and I’ve had the time of my life releasing my music under my own label imprint,” she said. “No dream is truly too big! I’m excited for the journey ahead.”
