Just days after releasing Rap or Go to the League, 2 Chainz travels through time in the video for one of the album’s standouts, “Money in the Way.”

While riding an elevator in an apartment building, he lives through nearly 50 years of history in the Vincent Lou-directed clip. He witnesses a civil rights protest in 1965, followed by a robbery and the birth of a child, ending with a graduation in 2010. In the end, 2 Chainz buys the entire block. Whether dressed in a floral-print blazer or lime green peacoat, the Drench God stays dripping no matter what era.

The Buddah Bless and Jabz-produced track appears on 2 Chainz’ fifth album Rap or Go to the League. A&R’d by LeBron James, the star-studded set also includes appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, and more.
