Ty Dolla $ign could be off the hook in his drug possession case.
Last September, the singer and his crew were pulled over while driving outside Atlanta. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered weed and arrested Ty. He was charged with possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
After striking a deal with prosecutors last week, Ty’s record will be wiped clean as long as he remains out of trouble for the next few months.
According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Ty must enter an online drug prevention program and refrain from weed and prescription drugs as part of Georgia’s Second Chance program, which typically lasts 13 weeks. He will also be subject to random drug testing.
If he complies with the terms, then all charges, two felonies and a misdemeanor, will be dropped.
The deal was struck after Ty’s attorney, Steve Sadow, met with prosecutors and pointed out weaknesses in the case.
