Justine Skye is going public with claims that Sheck Wes abused her.
The R&B singer, who previously dated Wes, took to Twitter following an incident on Monday (Feb. 11) where the “Mo Bamba” rapper reportedly pulled up on her and tried to attack her and her new boyfriend, GoldLink.
“Taking a walk with my friends and my man and Sheck Wes (my abuser) and his friends decide to STALK US and attack my friends,” wrote the 23-year-old Skye. “Two cars full of ni**as while he sat in the car like a bitch. You’re pathetic sheck and you beat women. You hit your girl before me and you’ll do it again.”
She continued to call him out for spreading lies about their abusive relationship. “You’re pathetic… and all the people defending you, ya whole bitch ass label.. everyone,” she added. “You spreading lies about me. Moral of the story is, if you never put your hands on me.. you wouldn’t be in this situation and you just keep making it worse.”
Wes has since denied the accusations. “I’ve chosen to remain silent until now out of respect for actual victims of abuse,” he tweeted. “But I cannot stand by while lies are repeatedly told about me. I never hit or beat any women and I did not beat up or jump anybody.”
After his denial, Justine accused him of lying and shared surveillance footage of Wes jumping the gate at her house. “I literally have footage of you jumping over the fence of my crib to attack me Sheck,” she said. “Your lies are even more disrespectful.”
This is not the first time Skye has accused Wes of abuse. While they were dating, he allegedly put his hands on her. Her video for “Build” was inspired by the toxic relationship.
“It got really intense very fast,” she told Rap-Up in November. “In the beginning, you think he really cares about me, he loves me, he doesn’t want any guys talking to me. And then it becomes, ‘Oh, you liked this person’s picture.’ It was ridiculous and I was like, ‘He’s trippin’.’ And then it started to get physical.”
She also shared a text message conversation between her and Travis Scott’s DJ Chase B, which details Wes’ alleged violent outburst from July 26, 2018. Justine reached out for help after locking herself in a room. “I think he’s breaking things,” she wrote in the text. “I’m fuckin terrified.”
