Joyner Lucas and Chris Brown announced their Angels & Demons joint project last year, but it’s been months since they’ve released any new music.

Now the duo reunites on “Just Let Go,” their first release of 2019, which finds them showing off their individual talents. Joyner handles the bars, while Breezy brings the silky smooth vocals.

In the video, which Lucas co-directed, they take on the role of two kids at a school talent show. A young Joyner impresses his peers with his witty wordplay, while Breezy wows with his killer moves. Eventually, they have the entire school turning up to their music.

Last year, they dropped a pair of singles, “Stranger Things” and “I Don’t Die,” off their highly-anticipated joint project Angels & Demons.

Lucas, who released his single “I Love” in October, parted ways with Atlantic Records late last year. He now plans to release his album ADHD independently “with no major backing.”
