Meek Mill had another run-in with cops, but this time they only wanted a photo.
The Philly rapper was in Kingston, Jamaica this week when he was stopped by officers. During his visit, Meek hit the strip club with friends and documented the wild night on Instagram.
While leaving, he and his crew were pulled over by local police, but it turns out he was not in trouble. Instead, they were looking to snap a photo with the hip-hop superstar.

Meek seemed to be in disbelief, but also relieved. “Y’all pulled us over and y’all said ya’ll want a picture?” asked Meek, who filmed the encounter for Instagram. “We scared of police. Y’all gon’ pull us over? We thought we gettin’ locked up.”
Meek had reason to be nervous. He was released from prison last April after serving nearly five months following a controversial sentence for violating probation. Since then, he has become an advocate for criminal justice reform. He recently teamed up with JAY-Z to launch the REFORM Alliance to fight for those who are unjustly under the control of the system.
Meek will return to the U.S. for his “Motivation Tour” next month. The 16-city U.S. trek kicks off Feb. 16 in Miami and travels to Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia, before wrapping March 24 in Atlanta. Additionally, he is set to perform at the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 17 in Charlotte, N.C.
