The Weeknd is back with his first new music of 2019.

After collaborating on last year’s My Dear Melancholy, EP, the XO crooner reunites with Gesaffelstein on “Lost in the Fire,” which premiered during Episode 3 of The Weeknd’s Memento Mori show on Apple Music’s Beats 1.

On the seductive dance track, The Weeknd effortlessly glides over Gesaffelstein’s slinky production. “I just want a baby with the right one / ‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one,” he sings. “We lost a lot of things in the fire / So it took a year for me to find out / I can’t lose you, babe.”

Gesaffelstein produced a pair of tracks, “I Was Never There” and “Hurt You,” for The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy, EP. The French DJ-producer is now readying his new album Hyperion, the follow-up to his 2013 debut Aleph, for release on Columbia Records.

Abel has also been in the studio working on more music for 2019, and has been sharing photos from his studio sessions on social media.
