Dreamville is taking over in 2019.
After releasing his fifth studio album KOD last year, J. Cole has revealed plans for the third installment in his Revenge of the Dreamers series. Taking to social media on Sunday evening (Jan. 6), the Dreamville boss posted a flyer announcing the recording sessions for the upcoming compilation.
“Your presence and participation is requested for the recording sessions of the upcoming compilation album Revenge of The Dreamers III,” the poster reads.
The poster was shared on social media by some of the participating talent including Bas, Cozz, Ari Lennox, Reason, Zeke, Christo, and EarthGang, who also shared footage from the studio.
The sessions will take place over the course of 10 days from Jan. 6 through Jan. 16 in Atlanta. “We got 10 days to try and make this Revenge of the Dreamers III album. Think we can do it?” asked J. Cole’s manager Ibrahim Hamad.
Revenge of the Dreamers III arrives over three years after the second installment in the compilation series, which was released in December 2015. The original Revenge of the Dreamers debuted in January 2014.
Additionally, Cole is readying his own mixtape called The Off-Season, which he plans to release before his next album The Fall Off.
