Cardi B and Offset are calling it quits.

After over a year of marriage, the power couple has announced their split. Taking to Instagram on late Tuesday evening (Dec. 4), the “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared the shocking news with her 36.5 million followers.

“So, everybody been bugging me and everything. And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” Cardi said in her video.

“And we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners and you know, he’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”

She continued, “And it’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like I guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore. I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce. And I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

Offset also commented on Cardi’s video writing, “Y’all won.”

The sudden breakup comes as a surprise. The couple recently vacationed together in the Dominican Republic and were spotted kissing courtside at a Lakers game. On Friday (Nov. 30), they shared the stage at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. The next day, Offset thanked his wife at a brunch honoring Variety‘s Hitmakers.

“She always supported me from day one and kept me going when I was thinking things were slowing down,” said the Migos rapper.

In July, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Kulture Kiari. Offset publicly proposed to Cardi with an 8-carat diamond ring onstage at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia on Oct. 27, 2017. It was later revealed that they secretly wed in a private ceremony on Sept. 20, 2017.

The couple’s relationship has been plagued by cheating rumors, but Cardi has always stood by her man. In January, she defended their marriage after Offset was involved in another sex tape scandal.

“I’m going to make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I don’t need to be rushed or be told what to do. It’s my life! I belong to me not the world.”
