As he gears up for his new album Dying to Live, Kodak Black digs deep on his latest track “Calling My Spirit.”

Over the stripped-down instrumental, the “Tunnel Vision” MC gets introspective. “Had to open my mind, then I opened the Benz,” he raps. “Like you gotta sell your soul for them to pay attention.”

He also grapples with fame, fortune, and family. “Ain’t seen my dad in a minute, but I can’t be mad, I got millions,” adds Lil Kodak.

His new album Dying to Live, which follows his debut R&B album Heart Break Kodak, drops Dec. 14. Last week, he released the Travis Scott-directed video for “ZEZE” featuring Travis and Offset. The album will also include the Ben Billions-produced “Take One” and “If I’m Lyin, I’m Flyin.”
