Cardi B is making more moves. While raising her new daughter, the new mom is also working on a new project.
During an Instagram Live session, she revealed that she is planning to release the untitled set in early September. It will consist of songs that didn’t make her debut Invasion of Privacy, as well as four or five new tracks that she has yet to record.
“There are like five songs that I was supposed to put on Invasion of Privacy, but it just didn’t finish, it didn’t make sense,” said Cardi. “So I’m gonna put it on this project that I really wanna put it out on September 1st, but I’m missing like four, five songs.”
She also has six features that she needs to record for other artists. “Sorry for the delay, it’s just so many things I gotta do,” Kulture’s mother told fans.
Cardi is also planning to return to the stage. After pulling out of Bruno Mars’ tour, the rapper will perform at festivals including the Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio, Tex. on Oct. 27-28 and Queen Mary’s Tropicália Music & Taco Fest in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 3-4.
Additionally, she is readying her first collection for women’s fashion brand Fashion Nova, which will consist of over 100 pieces. “I was gonna put it out for Fashion Week, but we’re gonna do it in November because it’s a lot of pieces,” said Cardi.
