AstroWorld is almost open for business.
Travis Scott’s highly-anticipated third album is set to arrive on Friday, Aug. 3. Producer Mike Dean alluded to the date over the weekend, and Scott confirmed it on Monday.
He also shared a cinematic trailer for the album, soundtracked by his new song “Stargazing.” In the post-apocalyptic world, Travis walks and rides in a shopping cart through the deserted and snow-covered amusement park in his hometown of Houston, surrounded by wild animals and explosions.
“FUCKING READY TO LOOSE MY SHIT IN A COUPLE DAYS,” tweeted Travis. “LEGIT BLOWING ANY AND EVERY SPEAKER I CAN FIND !!!!!! KIDS LETS FUCKING EAT.”
Scott has been in Hawaii finishing the follow-up to 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight with collaborators including NAV, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Allen Ritter, Amir “Cash” Esmailian, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl, and Wheezy.
“It might be the best music that I made,” Travis told British GQ Style last year.
The ride begins Aug. 3.
