Juice WRLD’s buzz continues to grow.
The Chicago rapper has been climbing the Billboard charts with his debut mixtape Goodbye & Good Riddance and single “Lucid Dreams,” and now he keeps the momentum going with a new single featuring Lil Uzi Vert. “Wasted” finds the 19-year-old rapping about drugs and girls.
“She do cocaine in my basement / I’m her doctor, but I’m running out of patience / She told me how she’s tryna get closer to Satan,” he raps, before asking, “Damn, why is she so demonic? / She Medusa with a little Pocahontas.”
Uzi comes through with a rapid-fire verse on which he references molly, hakuna matata, and a dominatrix.
Goodbye & Good Riddance is currently No. 7 on the Billboard 200. Juice WRLD can also be seen in a new short film for Apple Music’s “Up Next” series on emerging artists.
