Drake Reveals 'Scorpion' Release Date, Cover Art

  /  06.13.2018

OVO season is here.

Drake has announced a June 29 release date for his new album Scorpion. The Toronto rapper took to Instagram to share the date and reveal the simple black-and-white cover art featuring a headshot of him and his signature “Aubrey Graham.”

“JUNE 29 2018,” he wrote along with the scorpion emoji.

Drake has been recording Scorpion in his hometown of Toronto. “I’m working on this new album for the city,” he told fans during Drake Night at Air Canada Centre.

So far, the album has spawned the chart-topping singles “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What,” as well as “I’m Upset,” for which he also debuted a video co-starring his former “Degrassi” castmates.

Scorpion marks Drake’s first full-length album since 2016’s Views. Last year, he released the chart-topping More Life, which he dubbed a playlist.
