Ariana Grande and Mac Miller are calling it quits. After two years of dating, the couple has ended their relationship, due to their busy work schedules.
Despite the breakup, sources say that they remain close friends. They love one another “dearly” and will remain “best friends,” as per TMZ.
The couple began dating publicly in September 2016. Together, they faced several ups and downs, including the tragic Manchester bombing last year and the benefit concert that followed.
It’s unclear when the couple parted ways. Last month, Miller praised Grande for the release of her latest single, “No Tears Left to Cry.” “very proud of this girl right here ❤ Welcome back,” he wrote. “We missed you. One of a kind.”
Ari and Mac have collaborated in the past, including 2013’s “The Way” and 2016’s “My Favorite Part.”
“He’s a great, great, great guy,” Ariana told Power 106 in 2016, while Mac added, “She’s like the greatest person in the world. She’s like an angel. She’s very nice. She’s a sweet girl.”
Grande is now prepping the release of her most personal album yet, Sweetener, which is due in July.
