Juelz Santana’s legal troubles continue. The Dipset MC has been indicted on federal weapons charges in connection to his recent arrest.

Santana, 36, was charged with one count of carrying a firearm on an aircraft and possessing a weapon as a previously convicted felon, according to NJ.com.

Last month, authorities said that Santana fled the Newark Liberty International Airport while his carry-on luggage was going through a security screening. Transportation Security Administration agents found a .38-caliber derringer pistol and two live rounds in his bag. Complex reports that eight Oxycodone pills were also discovered in his luggage.

A grand jury ruled that there was probable cause to believe Juelz was attempting to smuggle a handgun onto a flight.

Santana has at least two felony convictions in his past, according to reports. He is now scheduled for arraignment before U.S. District Judge Stanley R. Chesler on May 10. He is reportedly facing 20 years in prison, as per Complex. Despite his legal troubles, Juelz is out on $500,000 bond and under electronic monitoring and travel restrictions.
