Cardi B is taking a break from her live performances. After back-to-back weekends at Coachella, Bardi has decided to nix a series of concerts this summer due to her pregnancy.
Taking to social media, the Invasion of Privacy chart-topper revealed that D.C.’s Broccoli City Music Festival on Saturday (Apr. 28) will be her final performance before she gives birth.
“Broccoli Fest will be my last performance for a little while,” she explained. “Shorty keep growing and I be lookin’ like I’m moving and everything, but in reality, a bitch barely can breathe. I want to thank y’all for understanding. I’ll be back for the Bruno Mars tour.”

As a result, Bardi canceled shows in Texas, Florida, Norway, and Ireland, as well as a festival spot at New York’s Panorama Festival. Tonight, she will perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Las Vegas. She is reportedly expecting her first child in July, and plans to return to the road with Bruno Mars on his “24K Magic World Tour” in September.
Cardi won’t be getting too much time off. She took to Twitter to explain how she’ll be grinding through it all. “Okay so i might be off from doing performances for a couple of months but in the meantime imma be working my ass off,” she wrote. “So many songs, features to do .Working on a lot of deals i sign up for and most importantly nesting. Im already overwhelmed from the new work.”
