New album alert! After teasing new music for several months, Drake confirms that his new album Scorpion is due in June.

Drizzy shared the news in two Instagram posts on Monday (April 16). One of the images featured a scorpion on a chain pendant. The other shows Drake in a black satin bomber that reads “Scorpion by Drake: June Twenty Eighteen.” Both posts have the same caption: “📀 JUNE 2018.”

Drake recorded Scorpion in Toronto. Last month, he said that the album was also dedicated to his hometown. “I’m working on this new album for the city,” he told fans during Drake Night at Air Canada Centre.

As far as production goes, Drake has been in the studio with Noah “40” Shebib, Pi’erre Bourne, Bad Bunny, London On Da Track, and others, but it’s unclear what will make the album.

Scorpion will be Drake’s first full-length album since 2016’s Views. Last year, he released the chart-topping More Life, which he dubbed a playlist. This year, he unveiled his two-song project Scary Hours featuring “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”

Drake already has two No. 1 singles off the album. “God’s Plan” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks and the Lauryn Hill-sampled follow-up “Nice for What” just dethroned it for the No. 1 spot.

The album title is seemingly a nod to his zodiac sign. Drake was born Oct. 24, 1986. In 2006, he released “A Scorpio’s Mind” on his first official mixtape, Room for Improvement.
