Cardi B is no Floppy B. The bronx bombshell just earned herself another platinum plaque. Late last month, “Bartier Cardi” surpassed the 1 million units earned mark.
The Recording Industry Association of America awarded her 21 Savage-assisted song a gold certification in February. On March 30, the flashy Invasion of Privacy single earned a platinum plaque.
A proud Bacardi celebrated the new certification with a series of screaming emojis on Twitter. “Foreal,” she added. “yaaaaayyyyy!! Made my day ..Floppy B.”
Cardi B’s platinum plaques keep coming. Last month, she also earned a 2x-platinum certification for her Bruno Mars collaboration “Finesse” and a 3x-platinum plaque for her G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky collab, “No Limit.” Meanwhile, “Bodak Yellow” is a 5x-platinum chart-topper.
More accolades could be on the way. Cardi B just released the heartbreaking “Be Careful” and flossy “Drip” with Migos.
Cardi B’s debut album Invasion of Privacy drops at midnight. She will perform on “SNL” this weekend and co-host “The Tonight Show” on Monday.
