Cardi B is back, bitches. The Bronx bombshell drops the long-awaited video for “Bartier Cardi,” which premiered today via VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
In the hazy lo-fi clip, directed by Petra Collins, Bardi goes vintage glam, rocking red fur, gloves, and lingerie. She also sports plenty of diamonds, sparkling all over her body as sweaty, underwear-clad men whisper her name. While 21 Savage gets tied up by some vixens, Cardi and her man Offset engage in a steamy makeout session in the back of a car.
Cardi B launched her career on “Love & Hip Hop.” The star quit working on the VH1 show in order to focus on her career. That move paid dividends, as she’s scored a series of Hot 100 singles in the past year.
“Bartier Cardi” has spent 13 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 so far. It peaked at No. 13 and is currently sitting at No. 38.
All of this leads into Cardi B’s highly-anticipated debut album, Invasion of Privacy. Featuring “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi,” and “Be Careful,” the album is due Friday (April 6).
