Wiz Khalifa celebrates 4/20 on Good Friday with his “420 Freestyle.” Armed with his trademark joint and smooth demeanor, the laid-back rhymer provides a mellow performance in a new vertical video.
Rhyming right into his phone, Khalifa stays in the pocket with a joint lit in his hand. “My crib in the hills, but I came from the bottom,” he raps. “I ain’t worried about the mills, ’cause I already got ’em.”
Mister Cap uses the freestyle as an opportunity to promote Khalifa Kush, his strain of weed. “I be smoking KK until they think I’m unconscious,” he raps. “Ain’t no one fuckin’ with me / Smokin’ KK like every day’s 4/20.”
“420 Freestyle” is just the latest release from Khalifa. Yesterday, he also joined N.O.R.E., Pharrell, Miguel, and J Alvarez on “Uno Más (Remix).” Earlier this month, he dropped the Smokepurpp-assisted “Captain (Remix).”
Meanwhile, Wiz continues to work on his long-awaited album Rolling Papers 2, the sequel to 2011’s original Rolling Papers.
