SZA reflects on her childhood in the video for “Broken Clocks,” a single off her critically-acclaimed debut album Ctrl.

The throwback clip, co-directed by SZA and Dave Free, flashes back between a young SZA and present day SZA. She and her friends attend Camp Ctrl and Camp Vanderwoffenberg. Her TDE brother ScHoolboy Q makes a cameo as the cafeteria cook, and Ab-Soul makes out with his girl. They partake in camp activities and roast marshmallows over a bonfire in the nostalgic scenes. After reflecting on yesteryear, the visual returns to present day, where a knocked-out SZA appears on the floor at the strip club.

“Broken Clocks” is the latest song off Ctrl to receive a visual, following the Solange-directed “The Weekend,” “Supermodel,” “Drew Barrymore,” and “Love Galore.”

She is now readying a deluxe edition of Ctrl featuring at least six bonus tracks.

Next up, SZA will join her TDE labelmates Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker on “The Championship Tour,” starting May 4 in Vancouver.
