Nas and Kelis have reached a settlement in their ongoing custody battle.

The former couple has agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old son, Knight, according to TMZ.

The new agreement breaks down Knight’s holidays. He will spend Father’s Day with his dad and Mother’s Day with his mom from now on. He will also celebrate even birthdays with Nas and odd years with Kelis.

The couple’s custody battle hasn’t always been an amicable one. Last year, Nas claimed that Kelis was “hostile” and uncooperative in reaching an agreement. It seems like the couple has since settled those disputes.

However, the exes have also been feuding over child support issues. Nas currently pays $8,000 a month, but Kelis feels like he should raise the amount due to his updated financial situation.

Nas and Kelis dated for two years and tied the knot in 2003. Their 2010 divorce inspired Nas’ 2012 album Life Is Good.
