Young Thug is readying new music with Nicki Minaj. Shortly after announcing a year-long hiatus from music in honor of his deaf brother, the newly-dubbed Sex has announced the collaboration.

The Atlanta rapper unveiled the news on Instagram Live. Soon, a snippet landed on social media. “Did somebody call for the queen?” Barbie asks in the preview.

Thugger and Minaj have collaborated before. Their joint singles include Rae Sremmurd’s “Throw Sum Mo” and Juicy J’s “Low.”

Young Thug recently partnered with Tra Tha Truth (“Don’t Know Me”), Camila Cabello (“Havana”), and A-Trak (“Ride for Me”). Meanwhile, Nicki has linked up with Lil Wayne (“5 Star”), A$AP Ferg (“Plain Jane”), and Migos (“She for Keeps”).

Sex recently claimed he would not release a new project this year, as a symbolic gesture to his deaf brother. Minaj is crafting her long-awaited follow-up to The Pinkprint.
