Whose world is it?
Rich the Kid pulls inspiration from Scarface for his debut album The World Is Yours, which finds him dressed like a modern version of Tony Montana on the cover.
To go along with his ’80s-inspired all-white suit, Rich the Kid shows that he’s still going the “money way,” holding stacks of cash in his left hand.
A Miami-styled neon sign reads The World Is Yours on the lower right hand side of the artwork. It’s a Scarface slogan that’s influenced generations of rhymers, including Slick Rick, Nas, and more.
Rich isn’t going alone on this adventure. He’s already enlisted Kendrick Lamar for his first single “New Freezer,” and the tracklisting boasts even more big names, including Chris Brown (“Drippin”), Khalid (“Too Gone”), Lil Wayne (“End of Discussion”), Swae Lee (“Gargoyle”), Bryson Tiller (“Small Things”), and Rick Ross (“Made It”).
The World Is Yours is due March 30. See the tracklisting below.
