Chance the Rapper will be honored for his innovations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The Chicago rapper is set to receive the 2018 iHeartRadio Innovator Award for his “groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry and his unsurpassable contributions to social causes,” according to a press release.
iHeartRadio also commended Chance for using “his voice to fight for youth empowerment through the arts, education and civic engagement with his non-profit organization, SocialWorks.”
With this award, Chano joins an esteemed list of artists who’ve previously received the recognition, including Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, U2, and Bruno Mars.
Additionally, iHeart has announced that Bon Jovi will receive the iHeartRadio Icon Award, while Camila Cabello will be presented with the iHeartRadio Fangirls Award.
Cabello, Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and more are set to perform at the show, which will be hosted by DJ Khaled and Hailey Baldwin.
The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards is set to air live on TBS, TNT, and truTV at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on March 11 from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
