YG wants to Stay Dangerous.
Two years after dropping Still Brazy, the Compton MC announced his new album during “The Boogie,” a TIDAL-streamed concert in honor of NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles on Saturday (Feb. 17).
“I’ve got a public service announcement,” he said during the show at the Shrine Auditorium. “If y’all one of my real friends, y’all gon’ be real motherfuckin’ happy about this shit. It’s been a long time coming…My motherfuckin’ new album on the motherfuckin’ way, Stay Dangerous, goddamnit.”
This marks YG’s third album overall. In 2014, he dropped his debut My Krazy Life featuring “My Ni**a” and the Drake-assisted “Who Do You Love?” Two years later, he released his sophomore follow-up, Still Brazy, which included “Twist My Fingaz,” “FDT” featuring Nipsey Hussle, and “Why You Always Hatin?” with Drizzy and Kamaiyah.
On Friday (Feb. 16), YG dropped the first single off Stay Dangerous, the DJ Mustard-produced “Suu Whoop.”
