Lil Pump is going from “Gucci Gang” to Gucci Mane. After launching a bidding war that included DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music, the burgeoning rapper has reportedly inked a deal under Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records.

Dooney Battle, co-founder of Tha Lights Global, an entertainment company that’s been credited with boosting Pump’s success, recently posted an Instagram story, in which he says it’s “signing day” (via HHNM).

When he asks Pump which label he selected, the camera pans down to reveal a 1017 chain. Last month, Gucci reportedly reached out to Pump via Instagram with “1017 you name the price” as a comment. Pump bolstered the rumors by sporting a 1017 chain in recent days.

Despite the rumors and apparent signs of a deal, Pump and Gucci have yet to make an official announcement.

Previously, Pump was under contract with Warner Bros. where he released his Hot 100 smash “Gucci Gang.” The song peaked at No. 3 and has since gone platinum, but it also led to a schism with his then-label. Soon, the 17-year-old MC nullified his deal with Warner due to the fact that he was 16 at the time of the original signing.

“New deals on the way, bitch!” he said after the Warner deal was nixed. “If you ain’t got 15 [million], don’t talk to me, bitch! I don’t want no meetings unless you talkin’ 15 and up!”

The 1017 Eskimo Records roster also includes Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Lil Wop.
