Cardi B’s alleged gang threats have forced Los Angeles nightclubs to prepare for NBA All-Star Weekend with additional security precautions.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper has an exclusive deal to appear at three nightclubs—Penthouse, Murano, and Ace of Diamonds—next weekend. All three are under the same ownership. After holding an emergency meeting, the clubs’ management team decided to hire three times as many armed security guards and additional off-duty cops in uniform, according to TMZ.

Cardi, who will earn a reported $250,000 for the weekend gigs, hasn’t spoken about cancelling the appearances. Club owners want to move forward, while taking the necessary precautions to keep the rising star and patrons safe, according to the report.

All of the concerns stem from an Instagram post, in which Cardi, who’s previously declared her Blood ties, said that she hates “wearing Flue.” The caption insulted many Crips who viewed it as a diss. She has since deleted the caption and disabled comments, following alleged threats from gang members.

“This will not be accepted. #DONTCOMETOLA,” one person commented, while another added: “Now why you go and do this f**k s**t Cardi. This is literally WestCoast Suicide …. bitch betta get #neutral.”

NBA All-Star Weekend is set to take place Feb. 16-18 in Los Angeles.
