Migos keeps whippin’ up “Stir Fry.” Fresh off the No. 1 debut of Culture II, Chef Quavo, Chef Takeoff, and Chef Offset get in the kitchen with BuzzFeed’s Tasty.
Soundtracked by their Pharrell Williams-produced banger, Migos throws on aprons and gets to work in the video, which finds them choppin’ onions, throwing salt, and licking their iced-out fingers while preparing a delicious-looking meal and performing their latest banger.
“Stir Fry” has become quite a promotional anthem. The NBA named the Culture II smash its official song for NBA All-Star Weekend 2018. Additionally, it was used in an Apple ad for iPhone X Animojis.
Migos keeps making history. The group has tied The Beatles for most simultaneous Hot 100 hits among groups. They have also become the first rap duo or group to spend more than one week atop the Artist 100 chart following the release of their latest chart-topping album, Culture II.
Previously, they led the chart in 2017, upon the release of the inaugural Culture. The chart measures an array of variables, including “consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming, and social media fan interaction,” according to Billboard.
The only other rap group to reach the top spot on the chart, which launched in 2014, has been A Tribe Called Quest, who reached the pinnacle position in 2016.
Up next, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset are set to bring “Stir Fry” to “Saturday Night Live” as musical guests on the March 3 episode.
