Drake has already shattered records and made chart history with “God’s Plan.” And just this week, he went in front of the lens to shoot a video for his chart-topping hit at Miami Senior High School.

Drizzy popped up at the school on Monday (Feb. 5). He was backed by an entourage, but was joined by students in performance shots for the video, according to social media clips. In some scenes, he was surrounded by kids and OVO associates. In another clip, he allowed the fans to finish his lyrics, while standing in a crane.

Social media reports indicate that the Toronto rapper donated $25,000 to the school and that they will be receiving OVO-designed uniforms soon. In a brief speech to the students, Drizzy wished them well in their future endeavors, thanked them for participating, and offered up an album tease.

“I hope you’re all proud,” he said. “I hope you had a great year and I hope you go on to do incredible things. I’ma talk to your principal and hopefully, for the students that are still here next year or maybe later on in the year, when the album comes out, hopefully I can come back.”

“God’s Plan” remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second straight week. It appears on Drake’s two-song release Scary Hours, which also spawned “Diplomatic Immunity,” which debuted at No. 7.
