Kodak Black was arrested in Florida on Thursday (Jan. 18) on a series of charges.

According to TMZ, the “Roll in Peace” hitmaker, born Dieuson Octave, was hit with seven charges, including grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and neglecting a child. There are also two charges for possession of a weapon or ammo by a felon and two probation violation charges.

The 20-year-old rapper happened to be on Instagram Live when cops entered his home and searched the property. They seized his cell phone in the raid.

This is not Kodak’s first run-in with the law. He was released from jail in June after serving 97 days of a 364-day sentence. He was released early for completing a voluntary life skills class behind bars.

Black was in the midst of serving a one-year house arrest sentence and had to get permission from his probation officer and the court before traveling. He could face serious jail time if the charges remain.

In October, he was also indicted on sexual conduct charges. The case is ongoing.
