Cardi B is going from the Billboard charts to the big screen. The Bronx bombshell has just landed her first movie deal, according to TMZ. The motion picture is set to start filming in March, but the title and content of the film remain under wraps.

In order to participate in the movie, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper had to make some money moves, canceling gigs that would have earned her between $100,000 and $200,000. Her earnings for the film are not yet known.

Speaking of movies, Bardi also stars in I’m Here Muthaf*ckas, a new TIDAL documentary about her rise from the Bronx and her trip to Miami for Moschino’s Art Basel bash. The film features G-Eazy, Paris Hilton, and Jeremy Scott.

“I wish that people from where I’m from could have these types of experiences,” she says in the mini-doc. “Experiencing art, experiencing the finer things in life, so they could feel free.”

It’s already shaping up to a be a big year for Bacardi. This week, the New York rhymer became the first woman with five simultaneous top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, surpassing Beyoncé who previously held the record with four.
