Childish Gambino will be taking the stage at the Grammys this month.
The rapper-actor joins a newly-announced roster of performers that includes Lady Gaga, Pink, and Little Big Town, as well as Patti LuPone and Ben Platt, who will be honoring Broadway composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Leonard Bernstein.
Gambino is up for five awards this year, including Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album (Awaken, My Love!) and Record of the Year, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Redbone”). It will be his first time performing as part of Music’s Biggest Night.
JAY-Z and Kendrick Lamar lead all Grammy nominees this year. The Roc Nation mogul has eight, including Record of the Year (“The Story of O.J.”), Song of the Year (“4:44”) and Album of the Year (4:44), while K-Dot has seven, including Album of the Year (DAMN.) and Record of the Year (“HUMBLE.”).
Hosted by James Corden, the 60th Annual Grammy Awards is set to air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
