Bottles up. One year after Trap or Die 3, Jeezy gets his shine on with Pressure, the eighth album in his celebrated discography.
The Snowman arrives with a flurry of guests, including Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole on the highly-anticipated “American Dream.” Other combos include Kodak Black and YG (“Pressure”), Tory Lanez and Rick Ross (“Like Them”), and WizKid and Trey Songz (“The Life”).
That’s not all. Puff Daddy (“Bottles Up”), 2 Chainz (“Floor Seats”), and Tee Grizzley (“Cold Summer”) also show up for Jeezy’s first album since 2016’s Trap or Die 3.
The album is a reflection of Jeezy’s current lifestyle. “You know, we’re eight albums in, 12 years in the game, but I’m all about living the dream and living life right now, so you’re going to hear that in the music,” he told Billboard. “It’s lifestyle. I’m going to speak my truth. I’m going to let you know [on] this album: I really live it. If you aspire to be like me, I’m going to show you how to get that going. It ain’t about how I used to live, what I used to do; it’s real time right now.”
