Video: Lil Uzi Vert feat. Nicki Minaj - 'The Way Life Goes (Remix)'

Lil Uzi Vert hits the forest with Nicki Minaj in the eerie video for “The Way Life Goes.”

Directed by DAPS, the highly-anticipated clip starts with Uzi tied up to the trunk of a tree, with a growling dog by his side. Soon, a knife-wielding Nicki is seen plotting, gyrating, and writhing around in a nearby cabin.

As night falls and the video progresses, Uzi is murdered by a femme fatale. The seductive killer throws him into a grave and shovels dirt on top of his body to close out the deadly visual.

The original version of “The Way Life Goes” appeared on Uzi’s chart-topping debut, Luv Is Rage 2. A deluxe version of the album was released last month featuring four additional tracks.
